# API Key

If you believe that your API key has been exposed to a third party, it is very important to generate a new one. To do this, click on your email address in the bottom left corner of your [Dashboard](https://dashboard.scraperapi.com/), then ‘Manage API keys’ and finally ‘New API key’. Copy the new API key and replace the old one in your scraping setup.
