ScraperAPI n8n integration with MCP connectivity

Getting started

  • Easy setup:

    • Install the ScraperAPI node from the n8n Community Nodes library (Docs).

    • Connect it to your ScraperAPI account using your API key.

    Note

    • Until n8n approves the node, enable Community Nodes in n8n settings to install.

  • Simple requests: Use the API resource to make GET requests to any URL.

  • Core parameters:

    • Required: URL, API Key

    • Optional: Country Code, Device Type, Render, Premium, Ultra Premium

  • Flexible scraping: Choose whether to render JavaScript, target a specific country, or use premium proxies, all from the node settings.

  • Improved usability: Clearer parameter descriptions, cleaner layout, and smarter defaults make setup effortless.

  • A hosted MCP endpoint (mcp.scraperapi.comarrow-up-right) will allow you to connect to ScraperAPI through an MCP server for broader AI and automation integrations beyond n8n.

  • January 5, 2026: The new billing model will be applied to all existing accounts as part of a full rollout, replacing the previous renewal options.

1. Updates to our Terms of Service

  • Clarified Terms: The updated terms clarify that your plan provides access to the ScraperAPI service, with credits used to measure usage.

  • Credit Consumption: Our documentation outlines how credits are consumed across different types of sites. This policy remains the same, but understanding it can help you better anticipate your usage.

2. Upcoming billing model improvements

Starting January 5, 2026, we’re rolling out a more flexible billing experience to give you greater control and scalability.

Depending on your plan type, you’ll benefit from one or more of the following enhancements:

These changes replace the existing “Renew Now” and “Auto-Renew” features but will not affect your regular billing cycle.

During a brief transition period, current renewal options will continue to function as usual while the new flexible billing experience becomes available to all accounts. Beginning January 5, 2026, all plans will fully move to the updated billing model.
